They apply to all passengers departing from or on connecting flights at airports within the European Union.

Liquids include:
When passing through security control, you will be required to present all liquids separately. The transparent plastic bag should be sealed and easily re-sealable. You will be also required to separately present your coat, jacket and the electrical equipment (e.g. laptops), when passing through security control.
Duty-free articles (liquids and gels) purchased at airports inside the EU or aboard flights operated by airlines registered in the EU, may be carried on board in a bag sealed for you by the duty-free sales staff or on board personnel, as long as they are accompanied by a receipt bearing the date of the flight. The package seal will remain valid for 24 hours. If you have to catch a connecting flight, you will not be allowed to break the seal until you have reached your final destination.
We recommend to all passengers to restrict their hand baggage to the absolute necessities in order to avoid any inconvenience which may appear as a result of these official restrictions.
Note: Different rules may apply in non-EU countries.
